Agriculture and Horticulture Traineeships

Horticultural trainees can work in a range of settings from nurseries and sporting grounds to commercial food growing or arboriculture, local government authorities, and public and private facilities with outdoor green spaces. Conservation and Land Management includes landcare, botanic gardens, native flora and fauna, national parks and environment management. Agricultural traineeship can apply to sectors including the farming of grains such as barley and maize, pulses such as mung and soy beans, sugar cane, rice, cotton, seeds and animal fodder, or livestock farming such as beef, dairy, sheep, poultry, goat, deer, pig and bees.
